Lauren Hagans finished competing for her Alma Mater, Baylor University, in 2008 as a 3x All-American. Hagans left Baylor with four school records including the mile (4:41) and the 1500 (4:15) while having never broken 4:28 for 1500 before her final year. In her last XC season she placed 35th at the NCAA to become only the 4th Baylor Bear to earn All-American honors. During her first year as a post-collegiate in 2009 Hagans hit a big PR for 1500 running 4:09 and has continued dropping time this year setting a new PB for 800 while running for Asics. This year she was a finalist at USAs in the 1500 and also made the move to Tennessee to train with Coach JJ Clark and new training partners Sarah Bowman, Heidi Dahl and Phoebe Wright.
